FAQs

How does this fit the mission of the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association?

KCHA believes the solution to pet homelessness is preventing unwanted litters!  By making spay/neuter and wellness care affordable, KCHA hopes to see a decline in the surrender of unwanted pets for adoption.  Additionally, more vaccinated pets mean healthier pet populations in our communities, which translate to healthier pets being admitted to KCHA!

What do services cost at Fix Charleston?

Spay/neuter procedures and wellness care for cats and dogs. See our pricing list here.

Do I have to be a Kanawha County resident?

No! Fix Charleston is here to serve the needs of any pet owner in the region. Our spay/neuter clinic expands our reach and partnerships with communities across southern West Virginia.

Are there income guidelines?

No! Fix Charleston's mission is to make pet ownership affordable for everyone. We offer low-cost spay/neuter and wellness services to clients without income restrictions.
